It is cozy and the perfect place for you to enjoy all Snowshoe has to offer! Experience all the comforts of home away from home, but within minutes of the fun the resort has to offer! Walkable to the Soaring Eagle Lift, Hoots and 10 Prime Steakhouse and a 3 minute free shuttle ride to the village center!

Nestled between WV's highest peaks & within minutes of our country’s best fishing, hiking, horseback riding, kayaking, biking, skiing, hunting, Civil War Sites, & historic trains, River House is a perfect base for all WV has to offer.

The Bushwhacker cabin is a rebuilt pre-civil war log cabin on 10 acres with spectacular mountain views. The Bushwhacker cabin is only a short distance to the Marlinton Williams river , 45min to Snowshoe, scenic highway, the Greenbrier,Hot Springs VA, and Lewisburg WV(voted coolest town)

Stay in the masterfully crafted Lemuel Chenoweth homestead along the rippling Tygart river. Built in 1857, this 2nd floor suite offers antiques furnishings, a private entrance, master bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and mud room. It has a queen bed, dresser, large porch with views of the river, a clawfoot tub with shower, sink, toilet, and a well stocked farmhouse kitchenette with a double induction cook top, sink , fridge and more. We do not offer a TV. Near Elkins.

From the back yard, you can access hiking trails which connect to the Observatory's many hiking and biking trails. Cass Scenic Railroad and the Greenbrier River are only 6 miles away.
