Meat Cove Campground (Cabin #1, Bring Own Bedding)

Each camp cabin sleeps 3 people comfortably. Inside each cabin is one double/single bed (with mattress). A table and chairs and 6 foot shaded deck with table outside. The cabins have solar power. (Small lamp and a place to charge small devices. You must also bring all of your own bedding (sleeping bags, pillows, blankets, etc) and all of your own cooking supplies (pots/pans, cups, plates, silverware) These cabins do not have any plumbing or heat. Hot showers and flush toilets are below the cabin

The old trail cabin.

Situated on a hillside overlooking the historic St. Ann’s bay, the Old Trail cabin is conveniently located just 5.5km from the start of the Cabot trail and the Gaelic College. A great spot to start or finish your Cabot Trail adventures! The cabin is designed to feel as open and airy as possible for a small space. The bedroom has a queen bed and the loft has a single bed. Kitchenette has coffee maker, toaster, mini fridge and microwave. All amenities needed are only 15 mins away in Baddeck.

Charming Salmon Pool Cottage

This house-keeping cottage is conveniently located on the Cabot Trail. It offers fishers, golfers, music lovers and explorers a simple place to stay on the beautiful Margaree River. Plan your days from the deck above the river. Just minutes from beaches and nearby river access. Spacious bedroom (no window) has double bed and a daybed. Air-conditioner is in the cozy living area. Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this perfectly located cottage in the heart of Cape Breton. Right across the street is a beautiful beach for swimming, bonfires, sunset gazing, and long walks. There are tons of amenities close by. The town of Cheticamp, the world renowned Cabot Trail and Cape Breton Highlands National Park are right outside your door! The views are spectacular, both mountains and ocean. And, Cape Bretons finest bakery is walking distance too!

Cabot Trail Wilderness Cabin | The Canopy

The Canopy is the 2nd largest of the 3 wilderness cabins, and closest to the washrooms, nestled among the forest which leads down to the waterfront. All the cabins sleep two people, with a personal fire pit, bbq, kitchenette, drinking water (although no running water), and all the amenities needed to spend a few nights in nature. The shared outdoor bathroom has been hand crafted with lots of natural light, a composting toilet (i.e. non-flushing), hot water shower and two sinks.
