My place is in a quiet street close to the beautiful south coast of Wellington, a casual stroll to the beach, a short bus ride to the city centre, local cafes and restaurants and a 10 minute taxi ride to the airport. I'm an architect, and originally designed the studio as a workspace at the rear of our home for my photographer husband, Ian. Lyall Bay Studio

This is a studio unit under our house with own access from street. There is no outdoor space. Comfortable queen bed, electric blankets. The couch is not a bed. Washing machine/dryer, and washing powder supplies. Kitchen has hot plates, microwave and small bench top oven. Fridge and freezer. Sky TV. Open robe for storage. Ensuite has toilet, basin, shower, no bath. Unit is stylish and well designed, and in great condition. There is space for a SMALL car to park directly outside.

Separate access at the side of the house and a short flight of 10 steps to the studio. Shared garden with the owners. Our friendly little dog and cat will welcome you to your city haven. Comfortable queen bed, access to laundry facilities available, and a desk to work at.

The guest suite (2 guests) is a private wing of the house with its own courtyard entrance. Free parking is available. The suite overlooks the garden and the courtyard where you can relax in privacy and enjoy the sun in the afternoons.The neighbourhood enjoys plenty of birdsong in the mornings and evenings.
