Unique English Heritage Escape in *Bembridge* IOW

'The Annexe' forms part of the main residence built on the old parade ground of Steyne Wood Battery. The Battery was built on the eastern coastline of the Isle of Wight and became a scheduled monument in 2015, being one of the best surviving Victorian Batteries and, as such, all the bomb proof shelters, ammunition stores, gun positions and defensive structures in the surrounding grounds remain intact. Jaw-dropping view over the English Channel

The Lawn is a semi-detached cottage with a private garden. It has been completely renovated as a stone house to create a friendly holiday home for couples and friends. The building is Grade II Listed from the 1860s with the window casements, original Victorian Conservatory and shaped roof tiles and woodwork being of historic importance.  Relaxing and fun holidays are guaranteed at The Lawn, so it’s no wonder that many guests return year after year.
