This relaxing four season vacation home sleeps 7 with 2 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, and an elevated west-facing patio offering spectacular sunset views of Lake Mindemoya. The open concept living dining room has a stone fireplace, vaulted ceilings and expansive windows that are perfect for preparing meals, cozying up and making lasting memories.

This all repurposed bunkie is in a picturesque setting on Manitoulin island. It has a large deck to enjoy the day . 230sq ft living space inside. It offers a queen size bed for our guest to find comfort and rest , along with a futon ; this cabin has a wonderful rustic feel. The cabin is framed with a beautiful wood finish with select antiques as decorations. This humble cabin has solar lights, bar fridge, power bar to charge devices. The washroom is a compostable outhouse. We have fire wood.

The Cedar Rose

Built in 2018, our off-grid cedar cabin is tucked away in a mixed woodland on beautiful Manitoulin Island. It is uniquely decorated with antiques, thrift store finds and handicrafts collected from our travels around the world as far as Africa, Japan, Costa Rica and Canada’s Arctic. Our space is an inviting space to unwind, unplug and wake up to the sounds of the birds after enjoying the stars on a clear night.

This is a guest house located on our property where we live but the guest house location provides privacy for our guests. Welcome to Manitoulin Permaculture! We are an eclectic community of infectiously warm and welcoming humans that are exploring ways of living that nurture each other and the land we share. We recently created a private, lakeside "glamping" space for guests. A queen bed with linens and bedding is provided for your stay. There is a private composting toilet next to your tent.
