Relax and unwind with a float down the Manistee River located 1.5 miles from the home as well as snowmobile and ORV trails within 3 miles each direction. Bear lake is roughly 3 miles from the Oasis where you can enjoy swimming and some good food from Bear Lake Inn. Downtown Grayling is roughly 9 mile away.

Originally built in 1995, this A-frame lodge was once a rustic hunting and fishing cabin. It lived many years as a seasonal property before evolving into what you see today. This peaceful cabin sits amongst 5 acres of beautiful maple trees. What drew us to this property was the quaint Northern Michigan location and the knotty pine interior. There is something welcoming and relaxing about a peaceful, rustic-feeling retreat in the woods. This is how The Lodge: Our Northern Knotty was born.

A hidden gem and rustic getaway perched next to a cascading creek! 320 sqft tent and beautifully crafted framework was constructed with timber from the property! Feel relaxed while you're sitting on the covered porch or cozied up on the couch with a good book. 15 acres of forest to unwind w/out the stress of setup! We provide bedding, cook stove, pots, pans, and basic essentials. An outhouse (newly built, naturally lit) is close, but not too close to the tent. Woodstove for heat source.
