Chalet style accommodation. This self contained holiday house is set up the same as a motel with all linen provided. All day sun. 3 bedrooms, sleeping up to 8. When you want to get away from it all and relax, "Number 22" provides an excellent base within 15 mins of the City of Dunedin, with a rural outlook and plenty of birdsong, thanks to Orokonui Ecosanctuary. Past guests have come to explore the area, to hang out for a weekend with a friend, to write some more of their novel/thesis, to be out of town when visiting Dunedin for hospital/events, and to job hunt from an unstressed base! Private with lots of room to move, our place has a relaxing beach house feel. Surrounded by large lawns and native trees, it has ultimate privacy. We have a large veranda to enjoy the sunshine and a BBQ. It’s only a 5 minute walk from Hampden Beach, shops, cafes and local tavern. Just a 5 minutes drive to the Moeraki Boulders or a 20 minute walk along the beach. We are only a 25 minute drive south of Oamaru and 50 minutes north of Dunedin.
