1950's Romantic & Whimsical cottage on Gull River

My whimsical & quaint cottage is 5klm from town which hosts a Foodland, LCBO, Pub, ice cream window and Home Hardware. Balsam Lake Provincial Park and Indian Point Provincial Park are close as well. I love my cottage because of the gardens, the chandeliers, the purple doors and the glorious clean river! The cottage itself is 900sq.ft. of cuteness & the property is 100 x200sqft. Canoeing, kayaking, bbqing, swimming, snorkeling and river floating are daily activities.

Our 225 square foot, timber frame, off-grid cabin is a nature lover's delight. Perched over Nogies Creek and surrounded by trees, it reminds you of the importance of slowing down and unplugging. It's a simple, beautiful setting with creature comforts and great views. We built this cabin by hand and we hope you enjoy the magic here as much as we do! The cabin is truly off-grid which means no electricity, no wifi, no running water and limited cell phone connectivity :)

Blue Canoe Chalet - Hidden Acres

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Listen to the birds, enjoy the dappled sunlight through the trees, sit by a campfire*, take a dip in the heated pool**, or relax in your own hot tub! We are excited to share that we now offer a Level 2 EV outlet! When you book, please confirm you have read and understand the house rules. * in proper conditions with no burn ban in effect. There is an annual ban for April. **pool is open from mid-June to Labour Day.

GcLittle Tourist Cabin on the Marsh

Nature enthusiasts welcome. We offer a large campsite complete with dock on a private nature reserve. Stay in a converted/restored century tourist cabin/hunt camp on the edge of Provincially Significant Wetlands & Woodlands and overlook 5 pristine acres of wetlands off the Pigeon River in the heart of the Kawarthas. All this is set on a 55 acre organic farm. We have a 10 kw solar panel, native plant nursery as well as heritage breed cattle, turkeys and chickens.

Enjoy the lake at this peaceful and centrally located casita (little house). Surrounded by trees and right on the water, this casita is perfect for a romantic weekend get away for two, or with a baby. Located only 20 minutes walking distance from downtown Bobcaygeon, it offers the perfect combination of nature, dining out and shopping. Our casita is new and has a kitchen to prepare small meals. Enjoy our beautiful outside area with a bbq and the day by the lake.
