The Highland Haven is perfect for those travelling the NC500 or visiting Orkney in a group. Our two rooms have traditional box beds and can sleep up to 10 (4 in one room, 6 in the other), each with Ensuite and an extra wet room. There is a large open plan kitchen, dining, lounging area surrounding a wood burner. We have secure parking, free laundry facilities and WIFI . Our location is stunning and full of wildlife. Easily accessed from the A9 (on the NC500 route) and just a two-minute walk from a secluded beach and estuary with lots of short walks from the front door and plenty longer ones in the vicinity. Modern appliances and comfortable furnishings, the cottage has everything you will need for a relaxing break.

The Old Smiddy, Huna, John O'Groats

Close to the village of John O' Groats and on the North Coast 500, the Old Smiddy (an old blacksmith's cottage) has been beautifully restored into a modern home, while keeping many of its original features. The cottage sleeps 4 people in 2 double bedrooms (both en-suite) and has a fold-away camp bed for use by a small child. The cottage offers beautiful sea views across the Pentland Firth to the Orkney Islands and is the perfect base for exploring Caithness, Sutherland and Orkney.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Perfectly situated in the open countryside beside the A99 and on the popular NC500 route, our cabin boasts beautiful views out to the North sea. Our cabin can comfortably sleep 2 adults and 2 children with a double bed and double sofa bed. It has a fully equipped kitchen area containing a over, hob, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster and kettle, and has a separate bathroom with toilet, sink and power shower.

Welcome! This is our quirky wee cottage. Originally a traditional Scottish but and ben it now offers a cosy getaway in the far north highlands. Taigh Neonach is Gaelic for odd cottage which suits its slightly unconventional character. A fantastic base to explore the North of Scotland, whether you are touring the NC500, relaxing in the quiet wilderness of Caithness, doing a spot of fishing, shooting, walking, cycling... the choices are endless like the views!

BERRISCUE HOUSE - ENTIRE COTTAGE - THURSO

Berriscue House is a beautiful, bespoke cottage - located in the centre of Thurso, hidden away from the world with a large walled garden and private entrance. Five minute walk from the beach. Everything you need for a cosy Scottish retreat! If booking the same day after 6pm please message as it may still be possible to book. If you require the extra bed in the living room, you must tell us in your initial message so we know to prepare this for you.

Pentland View Caravans-Victory

The Victory Baywood is a beautiful holiday home with double glazing and central heating. The main bedroom has full size king size bed with en suite toilet and hand basin. The twin room has full size single beds and there is also a pull out double bed in the lounge. The shower room has a large shower with toilet and hand basin. The spacious open plan kitchen and lounge area is equipped with full size cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and smart tv.

Haven Gore is situated on the famous North Coast 500 route, 2 miles from John O'Groats, overlooking stunning seaviews of the Orkney Islands. The house offers spacious bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. You can watch tv in our living room or relax with a book in our sunroom or looking out over the views while having your morning coffee ☕️. We also provide a Welcome tray of essentials for your stay as well as tea, and coffee.
