Secluded Cabin on a Farm near Woods and Footpaths

Our Cabin is set in a secluded spot with lovely views overlooking farmland, horse paddocks and the surrounding countryside. There are many footpaths in the area. A 10 minute walk will take you into ancient Postlebury Woods or to our small aesthetic lake. Imagine coming back from a long relaxing walk or maybe from shopping and exploring the Roman city of Bath to a warming meal in the cabin followed by marshmallows over the firepit. If you'd like to bring your horse with you we can arrange it!

The Waggon at Westcombe

Our cosy waggon overlooks its own private valley, complete with 19th Century coachbridge and secluded wild swimming spot. Set in 25 acres of woodland and pasture, our waggon offers an opportunity to switch off, curl up with a book and get back to nature. It includes an ensuite with shower and its own kitchen.. Only 10 minutes away from Bruton, handy for The Newt and Hauser & Wirth. Westcombe Dairy & Woodsheddings Brewery taproom is a 3 minute walk and the Three Horseshoes a 20 minute stroll.

Slow down and switch off at Fox Den, a luxury stargazing shepherd hut on our family farm beside the Kennet & Avon Canal. Wake to birdsong and enjoy lazy morning coffee in your private garden before wandering the canal towpath or exploring independent cafes, shops and countryside pubs nearby. As evening falls, light the BBQ fire pit, pour a drink and watch the stars appear through the skylight above your bed. Dog friendly! (Starlink internet if you choose to stay connected to the world).

Private, luxurious and cosy shepherd hut

"Hares Rest" shepherd hut is situated in a private location within a paddock with amazing rural views. Hares, red kites, barn swallows and deer are just some of the wild life you can see. Good pubs within various walking distance (3, 30 and 45 mins). Bowood House, adventure park, golf course and spa is 5 mins drive away. The train station is a 10 minute drive with easy access to Bath. We have horses so only very well behaved dogs are allowed by prior agreement and additional charge.

The Hay Trailer is a hand crafted wooden cabin built on a reclaimed hay trailer. GERTIE - Gertie is our beautiful home built traditional shepherds hut and is ready and waiting for guests. She sleeps 2 people in a small double sized bed. Fitted with a kitchen containing cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster. En-suite rain shower, Burlington loo, heated towel rail and stacks of hot water. Cosy up next to the log burner and enjoy the wood fired hot tub which has become a popular addition.
