Welcome to Hacienda de las Rosas, retreat, and home of Hacienda Happy Tails, an Animal Sanctuary. We are a husband and wife team who grew up in the city and had dreams of owning a place where we could welcome friends, family, & maybe some animals! When we first saw our place, we fell in love with the views, yet we never imagined becoming a sanctuary for animals (and humans too)! As parents, our only regret is not doing this sooner! This is a clean, family friendly ranch house within walking distance to the river, historical town, rodeo grounds and the bike track. The river is so close you can hear the running water. Enjoy the backyard Adirondack chairs (with a propane fire pit/table) to start your day or to 'wine' down and enjoy the river sounds.

Little Dun Retreat

We invite you to enjoy the gorgeous space we have created for our guests. It is a completely secluded guest home with a bathroom and kitchenette. Get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy cooking a meal on our BBQ while your spouse relaxes under the stars on our semi-private deck that is fully enclosed. Town is about a 20 minute walk from local bars and restaurants. This is a peaceful place to retreat after enjoying all this little town has to offer.
