Private lawn that leads down to the sea shore where seals can be seen on a daily basis bathing on the rocks on low tide. Enjoy your morning coffee while relaxing on the stone wall looking up the Fertha river or a stroll along the strand looking for clams for the afternoon tea. Located quarter of a mile from the Village of Portmagee where boats leave for the famous Skellig Rock

Cosy coastal eco-cabin with stunning ocean views

This snug, grass-roofed eco-cabin offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a warm Irish welcome, mountain walks on the Beara Way or snorkelling through nearby reefs. Sample local cheeses, lamb, fish and seafood or stoke up the wood-burning stove, have a glass of wine and and savour the peace and tranquillity! Word of warning: we are VERY remote, (1km off the road down a rough track). With almost no public transport, own transport (eg car) is highly recommended - see Getting Around!

Cosy Beach-Side Apartment

This sea-side apartment was tastefully renovated to combine old and new. We kept the period features of the 19th century building, but for comfort it's thoroughly modern. Every room has electric heating, underfloor in the bathroom. You can hear the waves from the window, and stroll to the beach in a minute. No weed-killer is used in our garden or orchard. There is plenty of insect and bird life, and apples in the autumn. WiFi, electricity, pets and extra guests are free. There are no extras.
