Relax in the hot tub on the backyard deck while enjoying a beautiful view of the red cliffs and creek! We are located just 15 minutes from downtown Durango, 20 minutes to Purgatory Ski Resort, and 5 minutes to Trimble Hot Springs. There is also a cafe, gas station, and liquor store half a mile away. We also have another studio airbnb on this property

Mountain Views and Starry Skies in the Countryside

Come enjoy the quiet of the country, only 15 minutes south of town. Stunning views of the La Plata Mountains and dark night skies for great star-gazing! Nice area for cycling and walking. Many of our neighbors have donkeys, horses, llamas and goats, chicken and sheep. No cigarette smoking but we are 420 friendly (outside only please!). We are a safe place for women travelers. There is a very friendly Labrador Retriever and a Basset Hound that live on this property but not allowed in the apt.

Take it easy at this unique, tranquil getaway in the rural Hesperus/ Durango/Mancos area. Welcome to our little slice of heaven. The apartment is above our detached garage and accessed through a separate private entrance. We've equipped it with everything you might need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The neighborhood offers a lake (with a walking trail) right across the street, National Forest access, and wildlife (deer, turkeys, the occasional bear). We do live onsite and are here should you have questions or need recommendations.
