Ideally placed for the North Coast 500, this modernised cottage is warm and cosy with central heating and hot water provided by a biomass boiler, and a wood burning stove for cooler nights.

A cosy mid-terraced fishermans cottage, now with a wood burner, located only 1 minute walking distance to the gorgeous Shandwick beach. Ideal for a peaceful seaside holiday retreat. Shandwick is one of three small coastal communities that along with Balintore and Hilton that make up the seaboard villages. Logs: we provide a bag of logs for each stay per week.If you require extra logs, I can provide contact details of logs providers locally. Well behaved (not too large) dogs also welcome.

Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers & families (with kids). Easy access to all transport links. We welcome everybody.

Eddrachillis House is a comfortable, modern home with spectacular views over Badcall Bay and its islands, two miles south of Scourie on the NC500. The house is set in 100 acres of land including shoreline. The spacious open-plan living area contains a very well-equipped kitchen and dining area where you can dine under the stars. The Old Smiddy, Huna, John O'Groats

Close to the village of John O' Groats and on the North Coast 500, the Old Smiddy (an old blacksmith's cottage) has been beautifully restored into a modern home, while keeping many of its original features. The cottage sleeps 4 people in 2 double bedrooms (both en-suite) and has a fold-away camp bed for use by a small child. The cottage offers beautiful sea views across the Pentland Firth to the Orkney Islands and is the perfect base for exploring Caithness, Sutherland and Orkney.
