Guest house is located on several acres with view of the pond and an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. Swimming pool is directly by guest house and for your use. Perfect artist or writers retreat, or to make your soldier feel at home with your home cooked meals and quality family time. Games, Roku and a stroll on the property is available for your enjoyment. Only 20 minutes to downtown Columbus and 25 minutes to Fort Benning Georgia, and it is within the trainees allowable range.

Peaceful Farm Stay at Shotgun Cabin

This Shotgun Cabin is nestled at the edge of a forest and shares a pond with a few other Airbnbs. The peace and tranquility is astounding! Feel free to fish, kayak, and explore. Pet friendly. 20 minutes to Opelika One bed, one sofa that lets into a bed, and a twin air mattress. If you have more than four in your party and they will bring their own cots, etc just let us know first. Please note, you will see more bugs on our farm than at a hotel. Our newly remodeled lodge-style home is entirely handicap accessible and ideal for a serene stay while attending all the exciting local events. It can be booked with next-door Pond House on the Plains that holds 14 people.

Enjoy a relaxing getaway only 30 minutes from Ft. Benning/Columbus area or 25 minutes from Auburn/Opelika area. Bring your boat or jet skis, there is a local boat ramp only minutes away and plenty of parking for trailers on the property. The home is nestled in a quiet slough just minutes from the long bridge. A local grocery store, pizza place and karaoke bar are only 5 minutes by car. Enjoy a drink while watching the sunset in the "Pirate" themed bar on top of the boathouse.
