Our lovingly restored and converted stone barn. Our aim is for guests to experience a historic and traditional Irish country home, while enjoying the comforts of modern living. We have SKYTV, DVD and WIFI but we can also offer the peace and quiet of the rural Irish countyside. Three double bedrooms compliment a spacious open plan ground floor. With its own grounds and parking, this stone property is on the edge of three counties and perfect for exploring the ancient south east and its coast.

Located on a working dairy farm the barn was converted in 2019 into 2 separate apartments each accommodating max 4 people. This listing is for the ground floor apartment. Perfectly located with easy access from the M1 motorway, an hours drive from Dublin and Belfast and only 8 min by car to Dundalk.

Hawes Barn - 200 Year Old Cottage

Set within the Croc An Oir Estate (translated as Crock of Gold) and tucked away down a leafy boreen, this beautifully restored, converted stone barn offers a truly relaxing holiday where hospitality and a traditional Irish experience is offered in abundance. This countryside accommodation is 5 minutes drive from Fethard Town where the chippers and Chinese do deliver to the property. 25/30 minutes drive to larger towns Clonmel, Cahir and Cashel . 45 minutes drive to Kilkenny and Waterford cities .
