The property includes an outside firepit that is a favorite place for guests to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the mountains.

Spectacular mountain view from picture windows on either side of wood burning fireplace and from outside firepit. Cabin is situated on 14 partially wooded, partially open acres. Newly added washer dryer and beautiful new second floor bathroom complete with hillside view from shower window. Rolling hills and wildlife surround this built-into the hillside cabin.

Welty Place is a relaxing getaway nestled in the beautiful Laurel Highlands, yet conveniently located right along Route 982. It is just minutes from Arnold Palmer Airport and the city of Latrobe, as well as Westmoreland Fairgrounds. Pittsburgh is within an hours drive. Ohiopyle, Falling Water, and Seven Springs (20 miles away), are other nearby attractions. We welcome long term stays, including guests looking to work remotely. It truly has a “home away from home” feel.

A labor of love, we built this home with hopes of someday retiring here to enjoy all the area has to offer. In the heart of the Laurel Highlands this home is close to golf courses, ski resorts, museums, theaters, restaurants, numerous State Parks with great hiking and biking, Idlewild and Soakzone, and Ligonier Camp and Conference Center.

Leave the bustle behind for the whispering oaks and calming embrace of our renovated Laurel Highlands chalet. Enjoy grilling on the deck, sitting around the fire ring, watching wildlife in the woods, or reconnecting with friends and family inside the cozy chalet. Shrouded by towering oak trees, the chalet is quiet and feels secluded. Yet, it’s only minutes away from Ohiopyle, Seven Springs, Fallingwater, and other popular attractions in the Laurel Highlands.

THE BAKERY LOFT

Located above the iconic Market Street Pastries bakery and cafe, the Loft offers an authentic western Pennsylvania small town experience. Wake up to the smell of the fresh baked goods, breathtaking views of surrounding mountains and the quaint distant sounds of the local church bells. Step back in time and enjoy the historic streets of downtown Blairsville and the burble of the Conemaugh river, just a short walk away.

We're located in the heart of the Laurel Highlands close to golf courses, ski resorts, museums, theaters, restaurants, Idlewild Amusment Park and numerous State Parks with great hiking and biking trails. Enjoy fishing steps from the back deck as this home sits along Four Mile Run creek.

Cozy Laurel Highlands Getaway

This condo is located in the Swiss Mountain portion of Seven Springs. Just across the parking lot from a swimming pool and tennis courts; great for family activities and close to - with a free shuttle - Seven Springs amenities. Seven Springs golf course is just across from the Swiss Mountain entrance. Note: the pictures show a fireplace. However fireplace use is prohibited by the HOA.
