This is the downstairs to our primary home that we have converted to 'The Duke' with John Wayne western décor, comfortable living room with mini fridge, microwave and coffee. Don't forget to peek into the kid friendly 'cupboard under the stairs' Harry Potter inspired closet. Relax each day on the 6' by 40' covered deck listening to the Rio Ruidoso river below

Watch deer, elk and other wildlife from any of our three decks, or our enclosed all-weather Nature Room when it's cold, wet or snowy. Many amenities include a propane grill, fully equipped kitchen, 3 Smart TVs, comfortable beds & furniture + a wood-burning fireplace. You'll be just a mile from Midtown shops and restaurants, or an easy 17 mile drive to Ski Apache.

Squaw Trail Cabin: Cozy and Quiet w/deck & grill

Peaceful mountain cabin located 1 minute away from Midtown Ruidoso's shopping, dining, and activities. This 1942 cabin offers two bedrooms and one bath as well as a spacious outdoor deck, kitchen, and living room. Private but close to town. Elk, deer & wild turkey are abundant on our acre lot and in perfect view from the cabin deck. This quiet oasis offers Wi-Fi, a propane fire pit, electric fireplace as well as coffee, hot chocolate, and oatmeal. You'll feel miles away but still close to town.

Our front deck has a 2 person porch swing where you can enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an afternoon glass of wine. As frequent Airbnb guests we feel we have provided a great place for you to stay.
