Our clean, modern cabin is situated in gorgeous bushland, near the Conmurra Homestead & just 15 mins from Bathurst.

This accommodation is ideal for those who prefer the rustic charm of a historic property over modern comforts. Warm and cosy in winter, the studio was once a purpose-built kitchen of a house built in 1888. Separate entrance. Recycled furniture, large bed, sofa, original fireplace and bathroom with shower cabin. Tiny veranda and a kitchenette, shared patio. NO KITCHEN. To use the fireplace, please BYO timber. Rustic mountain studio

The studio is in a lovely garden setting with a 15 minute walk to the village of Blackheath. Daytime bus service is within 50 metres. It is a quiet spot apart from the the abundant birdlife (cockatoos, magpies, crimson rosellas, kookaburras) at dusk and dawn. Entrance to Blue Mountains National Park is a couple of kilometres further down the road with easy hike to Perry's Lookdown and Anvil Rock. There is a comfortable queen bed with a small kitchenette.

BRAND NEW COTTAGE (same property but cottage is brand new, and available from September 2022). Binbrook is centrally located between Lithgow , Bathurst and Oberon. It has a gorgeous 2 bedroom cottage (60m2) on 17 acres. Curl up in front of the combustion fire, take in the amazing views, wander around the property and find the creek, talk to the sheep and alpacas, listen to old time records or explore surrounding countryside. Hereford House of Hartley Vale

Hereford House is a tastefully renovated self-contained three bedroom "Heritage Listed" cottage. Initially it was a semi-detached workers cottage built in the 1870's as accommodation for the employees of the Hartley Kerosene Oil & Paraffine Co.Ltd which was established in Hartley Vale on July 31st 1865.
