Catherine's Cottage is one of three courtyard cottages with three ensuite bedrooms, a full kitchen, dining/living room, washer/ dryer and underfloor heating. This quaint, quiet, 19th century cottage, rests in a timeless, peaceful setting, in the townland of Canrawer, a single kilometre from the town of Oughterard and 25 kilometers from Galway city centre. Oughterard is Galway's gateway to Connemara. Tappy's cottage is stop number 13 on the Oughterard Heritage Walk, a 2.8km walk which commences at the Owenriff Waterfall.
