This self-contained studio with veranda is set in beautiful gardens in the rural village of Peel Forest, opposite the hall. Private, quiet, tastefully decorated. Living/sleeping are combined in an L shaped room. There is a separate kitchenette (basic food preparation/microwave/small electric frypan) and bathroom. Sleeping options - a queen size bed or 2 single beds. SINGLE BEDS MUST BE REQUESTED WHEN BOOKING. Bush walks nearby. Parking. Continental breakfast. Nearest town is Geraldine, 19kms.

Thistle Cottage

Welcome to our small farm. We are situated approximately 5km between Ashburton and Lake Hood. Close to Lake Hood for wedding guests attending weddings as well as being close enough to town. We have a two bedroom cottage. Bedroom 1 has a king bed. Bedroom 2 (recently added) can either have two singles or a super king bed. If you are after some peace and quiet this lovely little cottage is the place to come. THIS PROPERTY IS NOT SUITABLE FOR TODDLERS OR CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE 8 YEARS OLD.

Situated on the Inland scenic route [High way 72] and only a short drive to Mount Hutt ski field and the Ashburton Lakes /Lord of the Rings country.For a longer drive Geraldine is only 30 minutes away and the Gateway to the beautiful Southern Lakes . The cottage accomodation is totally private set in a beautiful garden setting in the grounds of the historic school house built in 1876. 20 minutes to Methven and 1 hour to Christchurch international Airport. Not suitable for infants/children.

Take a Break in the Country - 1 Bedroom Apartment

This apartment is situated 5 minutes off Inland Scenic Route 72 and less than 20 minutes from the friendly farming village of Geraldine. Use the apartment as a launch pad to local activities in Peel Forest (horse treks and bush walks), Lake Tekapo (ice skating, snow tubing, day spa and hot pools), Mt Cook (beautiful scenic walks and helicopter rides), or just a place to relax and escape from the hustle and bustle of town. We are a working farm running cattle, chickens and 1 dog.

Separate studio is ideal for couples, solo travelers or business person. Located not far from the town centre but has a rural feel, giving you peace and quiet. Queen bed, fridge, toaster, tea/coffee facilities, continental breakfast and Wifi (now with Satellite giving good connection) A nice comfortable and cosy place to stay. Geraldine is a vibrant town offering boutique shopping, cafes and numerous outdoor activities. Access is via a Lock Box, giving you total control.

From comfort & warmth of a newly built cabin you over look our small farm and have some amazing mountain views and some equally amazing sunsets. Peace & tranquility take over as you are far enough out of town, while actually only being 2 minutes from Temuka's Town Centre, 15 minutes from Timaru's Caroline Bay and Town Centres Cafes and Shops and 8 minutes from Fonterra's Clandeboye Site.

Our Farm Cottage is a very warm little cottage with all the mod-cons. Whether you're passing through or need a home base while exploring the South Island, you'll love our cottage! The farm is a small block and home to cows, calves, a few pigs, a couple of dogs, two cats and your friendly hosts Paul and Dale. As an added bonus - Paul and Dale love showing guests around their farm! The apartment has great Wifi and a washing machine for your laundry

Struan Farm Retreat Geraldine

Beautiful native trees and birdsong surround your own peaceful, private, and quiet cottage and gardens. We have a star gazing area where you will be awed by the clear sky and see the Milky Way and all the constellations. Our Retreat Cottage is very well equipped with everything you need, including a 3 pin EV charging port. Your hosts, Drew and Sally, will meet you and show you where you can browse the large vegetable gardens and orchard.

Country Cabin

The warm and cosy cabin is a self contained unit detached from the main house, with BBQ, private deck and restful native garden. You will have your own access/key and off road parking. Our place is great for couples. On navman route, we are 2 hours from Christchurch and 4 hours to Queenstown. Only 1 hour from Mt Hutt ski field and 1 hour from Mt Dobson ski field. Aoraki Mount Cook is 2 hours distance and Tekapo is 1 hour.

Lake Cottage , "Coniston" Ashburton

Lake Cottage is a small cottage which has a double bed is fully self contained set in 6.5 acres of woodland and formal gardens at "Coniston" Ashburton. In a quiet farm setting only 3 km from the centre of Ashburton and S.H. 1 to Christchurch, Dunedin or Queenstown. Continental breakfast provisions provided, selection of cereals, porridge, fruit, bread, milk, butter and selection of spreads. Selection of teas and coffees.
