Less than a mile away is Dead Timber State Recreation area with walking trails & lakes. The Bunk House is located on the same place the hosts live. Covered parking in shed is available. Sleeping spaces include 1 queen size bed, a couch, and a queen size air mattress if needed. Pack-n-play available.

Finally, our grain bin includes 20 acres of the Loess Hills to explore. We recommend hiking to the top of the ridge for sunset. It's breath taking.

Remodeled split-entry "Hilltop Hospitality House" was my childhood home. One hour from Omaha in the lovely Loess Hills, with beautiful lake and valley views, (sleeps ten). Three queen beds, one double bed, one sofa sleeper, full kitchen, two full baths, laundry, a spacious open floor plan for large groups, and a large deck overlooking my friendly hometown, this is a great space for groups and family gatherings. Built in the 1920’s the cottage underwent full renovation in 2024. It maintains it 1920’s character while offering a large kitchen, 3.5 beautiful bathrooms and a large family room with ping pong and foosball tables. Paved access to Highway 275 makes Fremont a quick 7 minute drive and West Omaha a 25 minute drive.
