Approx 10 minutes drive from the Villa and you'll be at Calheta Beach where you can enjoy the golden sand, several restaurants and book whale and dolphin watching tours. Villa Lara is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids (cot & highchair can be provided)), and big groups. Villa Lara is set in a peaceful location ideal for walking the levadas (unmissable walks in Calheta include Paul da Serra, Rabacal (to Risco Waterall & 25 Fontes), Levada Nova and the Prazeres to Paul do Mar walk) and is close to a bus route. The property is approximately 30 minutes drive to Funchal and 45 minutes from the airport. A car is recommended so you can explore the island at your convenience. Cottage located by the mountains of Câmara de Lobos in Madeira Island, with a view to the Atlantic ocean and to the west coast of Funchal. The house is just for you and your companion. You will not have to share it with other persons. From June 2025: Now with a private parking spot in a flat area, about 250m from the house. Wifi internet in all the house. Cable TV service in the living room. Please read carefully all informations before booking. Here you can relax and connect with nature.

"Just Nature 1" Madeira Island -Boaventura

"Just nature 1" is located in Boaventura-S. Vicente An ideal place for walking wrapped in protected Laurisilva, where the only sound you can hear is the sound of the birds! Absorb the amazing views of the northen part of Madeira island, and meet the insides of the Laurissilva by going on walk in "Levada da Origem", located at 100 meters from the house. Near the house there is also a minimarket, where you can meet Mr. José, ask for the local drink, and get to know a bit more about Boaventura.

Os nossos abrigos ficam situados dentro do Parque Ecológico do Funchal, com uma área de 8 km2. O Parque possui vários percursos pedestres recomendados, Canyoning, um percurso de Enduro BTT, entre outras atividades.

A magnificent place with a superb view over the sea. In a locality known for banana trees plantation. Very quiet and pleasant you can find the beaches within 5min and all the other services you need. Perfect for resting and recuperating energies during your visits to the island. Near the house you will find a levada walk with great view over the fabulous mountainous landscapes of the west.
