Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. The Riverbend is located just outside of Wilmington NC in the quaint town of Burgaw. Nestled on the banks of the NE Cape Fear River, this is the perfect place for a getaway. Just under a mile from Old River Farms wedding venue, 20 minutes from downtown Wilmington, and just a little more to Wrightsville Beach. The house sleeps 10 adults or up to 12 with kids. Miles of breathtaking water views looking towards Swansboro from this riverfront cottage that has been newly renovated inside & out. A mile dirt road takes you off the beaten path & a private setting on the end of a dirt lane with only a few other fishing cottages. You will love the peace & quiet & refreshing breezes. Enjoy sunrises/sunsets from the pier! Access to kayaks, canoe & 2 paddleboards. Enjoy the ospreys dive bomb for fish, an occasional dolphin, & other birdlife.

Our waterfront paradise sits on a point on Queens Creek with a 180-degree view of the quarter-mile-wide estuary, just upriver from the Intracoastal Waterway and 5 miles from the ocean. We’ve rehabbed a 1959 fishing cottage, 2 bed, 2 bath surrounded by glass w/ kitchen and living facing the water.

This is a recently renovated rustic 1947 cottage with an outstanding view of and access to the Intracoastal Waterway. It is perfect for meditation or quiet time by the water's edge, or for fishing, art, reading, writing, kayaking or paddleboarding. It is close to Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach, Topsail Island and Hampstead where there is shopping, restaurants, outdoor and cultural activities and beautiful beaches. It's old, but it is full of charm!
