Cozy Cabin, Great for Solo Travelers & Couples

This private peninsula has been a Northwoods getaway for the past 75 years, formerly as a resort and now as a unique collection of just three cabins. This listing is for Cabin #1, a lofted cabin that sits right along the waterfront. Each cabin has it's own firepit, picnic table, grill, and Adirondack chairs. The 6-person barrel sauna, kayaks, and all other outdoor spaces are shared among all guests. We're just 15 mins. from Downtown, Mt. Itasca, Tioga MTB Trails, and the Chippewa Nat'l Forest.

Rustic, solar bunkhouse - The Roost! Glamping at it's best. Get away from it all in this simple bunkhouse made with recycled materials and wood siding from trees milled on site. Large window, covered deck, outdoor seating and fire ring give you space to commune with nature. With a full and twin mattresses, it is Bring Your Own Bedding so come with sheets, pillows and/or sleeping bag. The structure is heated. Private outhouse near-by, bring a flashlight. The deck provides a peaceful view of the woods; and the 3 season porch and loft den offer lovely places to relax and read. In the winter the wood stove provides a toasty ambiance.

The barn has animals to visit and the farm will be open for walking and berry picking. Guests can play on the playgrounds, sandbox, Dinoland and Fairyland. The home has homemade quilts on the beds and country crafts. The house can also be set up for craft retreats or family reunions. There is plenty of parking and space for activities.
