Happy Nest is an apartment which is half of the main house at NutGarden. The house has been partitioned to make two residences. Happy Nest contains a bedroom, a large living area, a kitchen and shower/toilet. There is a single bed in the living space as well as the double bed in the bedroom. The house was built by owner/ host Kim Clark who lives on the property. The spectacular location is in the rainforest of the World Heritage Region of the Great Western Tiers

The Nook is part of the Mill Corner Longhaus which is the first certified Passivhaus in North-West Tasmania. The house won the national 2026 HIA Greensmart award for Energy Efficiency and is a finalist in the Master Builders Tasmania award for Sustainability.
