We know you'll love everything the outdoors has to offer from Methven. The resort also has a spa pool, restaurant in peak season & tennis court.

The Annexe, Methven is close to Mt Hutt Ski Field, and Ōpuke Thermal Pools & Spa. You’ll love The Annexe’s facilities and comfy beds! There are 2 upstairs bedrooms - 1 king bed in one bedroom, and 2 king singles with a third rollaway bed that can be set up on the upstairs landing area for a 5th guest - message us if required. The Annexe is good for families with kids and couples. Guests can use our hard-surface tennis court (racquets and balls supplied) and take a dip in our hot tub.

High Country Farm Cottage

A comfortable, warm cottage suitable for couples and families wanting a weekend break or a longer stay. Located on a working farm with beautiful mountain and river views. The Rakaia river and Glenariffe Stream are close-by for fishing. Plenty of walking (Te Araroa trail and DOC tracks) and biking in the area as well as a Hot Tub & WiFi at the cottage. Methven township is a 50km drive with cafes, restaurants, good shopping, Opuke Hot Pools and biking at the Mt Hutt bike park.

Creekside Camp -Character Camping in Geraldine

Situated on the Inland Scenic Route, less than 2 hours from Christchurch, our unique off-grid camp hosts two character huts on wheels alongside an outdoor kitchen, camp fire, outdoor shower and fire-heated baths under the stars. Please note, in dry & windy conditions it is not safe to light the baths or camp fires. While this is disappointing for you we ask for your understanding as this one is beyond our control.
