Our house in Meyersdale is a single-family house just a block from the GAP bike trail on a quiet street and walking distance to the middle of town. The house is ideal for travelers riding the GAP, skiers visiting the slopes nearby, or those looking for some quiet time in the country. Ideal for individuals or small families. (Pls note: Trains come through town and the whistles can be heard during the day or night. There is also a fire whistle to alert volunteers to emergencies.)

Welcome to the Red Brick Roost Guesthouse. This historic home is the oldest brick house in Rockwood and dates to the 1870s. The house is conveniently located on Main Street in town, just .7 mile ride/walk from the Great Allegheny Passage trailhead. We also offer a locked storage area for bikes and ski equipment. Just two blocks from the Great Allegany Passage rail trail, our apartment is a great stop while bicycling on the trail. Or a wonderful rest spot when visiting the Laurel Highlands. Whether visiting family and friends or one of our area's festivals and fairs such as the Pennsylvania Maple Festival or the Somerset County Fair, our apartment is a great space.
