Enormous windows and a gorgeous wrap-around deck let you enjoy the treetops in total privacy. With plenty of beds for a large family, a full kitchen, our delightful 'Bear Haven', and games and classic movies to enjoy, our cabin is pristine, cozy, and welcoming. NOTE: We strongly recommend AWD for winter (steep paved driveway)

Welcome to my cabin in the woods! I was living in the heart of DC till recently but made the decision to make this my home base as it’s the best place for me to relax and connect with nature. While this is my home, I travel regularly and rent it out while I’m gone as I want to share my piece of paradise with others. Aside from the cabin itself, the community in the area is lovely and there’s a lot going on in the area. Between the nature, the people and serenity, it’s an amazing place to be!

Cozy, yet spacious with 2 beds and baths, keypad entry, a front porch and large back deck, we have everything you need for a relaxing fun vacay with " Mother Nature".

1832 Historic Washington Bottom Farm Log Cabin

Welcome to our renovated 1832 Log Cabin on the grounds of the George William Washington and Sarah Wright Washington 19th century plantation. The cabin was the first structure built. Then came barns and slaves’ quarters (no longer standing). The dairy barn is now a woodworking shop and the bank barn was recently restored. The main house, built in 1835, is Greek Revival style. Today, our 300+acre is Certified Organic. We border the South Branch of the Potomac River. It’s ALMOST HEAVEN !

Glamping in a Creekside Aframe

This cozy aframe is a perfect glamping getaway for two! You'll stay on 20 acres with over 700 feet of frontage on Abrams Creek. Ready to unplug? The aframe is completely off grid with solar energy and a wood-fired stove. Sleep in luxury with fine linens and a queen size bed, but spend your day splashing in the crystal clear creek and hiking through the forest. Enjoy your evening playing cornhole while dinner cooks on the grill, topped off with a favorite beverage around the campfire.

BAER Mountain Cabins

We're a family of 6 (4 kids) & built this waterfront campsite to get off grid & spend time with family & friends. Abrams Creek flows into the Potomac River (which you can walk to from camp). Camp is located near two major ski resorts (Wisp at Deep Creek, MD & Timberline near Davis, WV), three lakes (Deep Creek, Jennings Randolph, & Mount Storm), & tons of state parks. The stars are amazing, the creek is music, & the nature will refresh you. Welcome to BAER Mountain Cabins!

Cozy cabin for mountain getaways

Take a break from everyday life and enjoy this cozy lovers cabin, with two decks and a fire pit to enjoy the peacefulness and views! Authentic log cabin perfect for a couples retreat as the loft is the main bedroom and there’s a small twin bed on the main floor for a third person if someone comes along! This is a relaxing mountain community and we would like to invite you to enjoy that with us! Note: The basement is under construction, it is off limits until completion.

Cabin G at Abrams Creek

Cabin G is a rustic camping cabin in the woods, overlooking the creek- no plumbing or AC power. It has heat, battery-powered permanent lighting and a private portapotty. Outside there is a private fire pit and picnic table, and a charcoal grill and a propane tabletop stove are available at no charge. The cabin is furnished with beds, chairs, table, couch, and nightstand. Showerhouse and outdoor showers are near the main lodge, or inside lodge during the cold season.

Bear Bungalow @ Sleepy Hollow

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. These small semi-finished A-frame cabins are nestled in the mountains of Western Maryland. This is a great place for those that enjoy the outdoors. The quaint cabin includes a queen bed, 2 chairs, a small table and that's it. The restroom is located just a few feet away, it's a bathhouse that's used by other guests at the property. Enjoy the outdoors around the campfire that's located right outside.

The Hearth Stone Cabin

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. We are located at New Germany State Park. It is a nice walk or a short drive to the park for hiking, biking, cross country skiing and or swimming. We are also a 25 minute drive to the Wisp ski resort. We are centrally located. Also close to Savage River Reservoir for kayaking, canoeing or fishing. Our goal is for the family to enjoy time away!
