There is a full newly renovated luxurious bathroom, new KING size bed, an extra inflatable mattress (queen size hiding in the closet, upon request), kitchen for making full meals or heating Houston restaurant leftovers! Our living room features a massive lounge-worthy sectional with a smart TV, soft blankets, and plenty of pillows. We also offer free use of the washer and dryer. While you will have full access everything listed here, part of the 1st floor (full blocked off with private separate entrance) is another Airbnb unit. You may run into other guests due to a shared outdoor gated entry but each unit has a separate private and secure entrance into the Airbnbs. The kitchen and dining area are right above the 1st floor Airbnb, so we appreciate not walking with your shoes (if loud) upstairs. Within 5 to 10 minutes are the Medical Center, NRG, and Downtown Houston! Less than 15 minutes away are the BBVA Compass Stadium, Minute Maid Park, Rice University, University of Houston, Texas Southern University, the Houston Zoo, Museum District and many many wonderfully diverse culinary options from food trucks to breweries to steakhouses! Approximately 15 seconds to highway 288 which gets you downtown in around 8 minutes. Stay here and you don't have to fight street traffic on top of freeway/highway traffic! Street parking in front of the house along the grass is plentiful! Most of the owners park here since our garages tend to be for storage :) No Pets Allowed (We are very allergic!). We also appreciate you leaving your shoes in the foyer since we have soft pine wood flooring upstairs. You will have access to the townhouse through our gated side yard. There is a small 2nd story patio that you will have all to your self as well. Great spot for winding down after a long day with some of Houston's finest craft beers. The side yard and patio are both wonderfully lit for both safety and atmosphere. Please do not walk to back of house on 1st floor as this is a separate Airbnb unit. Part of the first floor is also an Airbnb unit so please reach out to us using the Airbnb app's messaging system. We recently moved closer to downtown so we're still just minutes away and can help with issues you may be having. We do clean our own units so don't be surprised to run into us as we're cleaning the other Airbnb :) This unique metal-clad townhouse complex sits right in the heart of an urban neighborhood in inner-loop Houston. Less than a 5-minute drive from downtown, diverse culinary options are on the doorstep, from food trucks to breweries and steakhouses. Minutes from the new HEB and other amenities. Hobby Airport is 15-30 Minutes away depending on traffic. George Bush Airport is 30-40 minutes away depending on traffic. Local bus station is a 6 minute walk away. You can bike to the closest rail line station. This is Texas though so driving (including Uber) is usually the easiest way to get around. We will send more detailed access instructions (tips, really) the day of or the day prior to your arrival, so please keep an eye out for that. Access to the unit is completely host-free, so you can check in at any time after 3pm and come and go as you please, no matter the time! Please make sure to make the reservation for the actual number of guests that will be in the listing. Any unauthorized guests (whether they spend the night or not) will be subject to a $20 per night fee.

Codes are programmed the day of check in and deleted shortly after check out. We are as available as you need. Centrally positioned in the Madison Street shopping and dining district, the loft is conveniently surrounded by local eateries and pubs within minutes of downtown Chicago and the United Center, and just blocks from the CTA blue line. We are located half a mile from the L - Blue Line. We are the Forest Park Stop on the blue line. The blue line will take you into the city. It is about an 8 to 10 minute walk from the loft. An Uber/Lyft ride into the city ranges from $15 to $25 and takes around 15 to 20 minutes. We are one mile from the Metra train line (Union Pacific - West). The Metra dead ends into Union Station. There are a number of Metra lines that take you to surrounding suburbs. We are also one mile from the Green Line - Oak Park Stop. The Green Line is another line on the L. The third bed is a queen sleeper sofa. There is a strict no smoking policy in our building. You can not smoke on the balcony - it will result in a $500 fine. The neighborhood is vibrant in the summer and sound can travel into the unit.

The bedrooms are very comforatable. This is also my home but I travel so it is a sin to leave it vacant. The rooftop is great and has a gas fireplace. Perfect place to sit around and enjoy some wine. The kitchen has a double oven and an ice maker. I will be happy to answer any questions.If you decide to have a small gathering there is an extra charge depending on size and what is involved. If you plan a party and you reserve the space for 20 and 40 show up you will be charged $50.00 per person. This sounds harsh but I have had guests that used my home to charge people to come in and it turned into a free for all. If you have an event here there will be someone on the premises during the party. If anyone smokes in the apartment you will lose your security deposit. If you want to use the rooftop for a small get together than that must be discussed with me first. If a couple or family is staying than you have full access to the beautiful roof. Vacation or business, we expect you treat our home as if it were your own. No smoking indoors. No pets. No late night caterwauling.
