Canoeing on the Kickapoo in Ontario WI is 11 miles away: 45 minutes from The Dells (S) and La Crosse, WI and the Mississippi river (W).

Our cabin is located next the Jellystone Yogi bear campground and Three Bears Lodge. Plenty of parking for ATV’S and trailers in the grass. New furniture in living room. 65 inch TV with Superbox. 2 private bedrooms with queen beds, on main floor. TVs in both rooms/w Ruko 5 twin beds and bathroom upstairs in the loft. 40 inch TV w/Ruko , DVD player Fully stocked kitchen. Washer/dryer. Grill for outdoor cooking. The villa next door may also be available if you have a group larger than 10 .

The Forest View Log Cabins overlook a vast Forest atop of a ridge with 156 acres to roam. Enjoy the hilltop vistas and Amish countryside! You can hike our lands, have bonfires at night, or enjoy the beautiful surrounding nature. We are close to the Elroy Sparta bike trail, canoeing on the Kickapoo River, local Amish shops and more. Wildcat State Park, Kickapoo Valley Reserve, and Fort McCoy public hunting are close by. Lacrosse and the Mississippi are a 45 minute trip away.

The Hideaway

Welcome to God’s Country Getaways! Each cabin provides a beautiful place of serenity. The forested ridges, farm field valleys, and spring fed trout streams will make you take a step back and bring time to a halt. A long winding trail to a place hiding deep in the hardwoods may seem a little scary, but we promise…it’s worth it! Just watch all the different wildlife pass by as each day comes and goes. Take some memories home and reconnect with nature on our 3D archery course!

Olde Wisconsin Hearth Cabin

Our Cabin is located in the Heart of Amish Country on 44 Acres. (maps for Amish tours located in the cupboard) We have Wild Cat Mountain State Park, 4 miles away for horseback riding, hiking trails, and a scenic overlook. As well as the Kickapoo Wild Life Reserve in Lafarge. There is Canoe, Kayak and tubing rentals at the Kickapoo River 3 miles away. Elroy-Sparta Bike trail is about 15 miles away. We are located off of Highway 33 between Cashton and Ontario WI.

Grapevine Log Cabins 3

Grapevine Log Cabins, based in Sparta WI, offers pet friendly cabin rentals on a family dairy farm. Amenities and activities include: a walking trail, bike trail, cows in pasture, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, grills outside (there is no cooking in the cabins), Air Conditioning, Heat and firewood is supplied. Nearby activities include: canoeing, fishing, 4 wheeling, antiquing, and superb scenic sites. Pet Policy: Pets may stay with you for an extra $25 per pet/night.
