El Nido Apartment at Totten Lake

El Nido is a second-story apartment on a lake-front property, with panoramic views and a wrap-around patio. This two-bed, one-bath contemporary apartment is named El Nido (Spanish for "the nest"), because of the abundant wildlife in the area, including resident bald eagles nested across the street in a designated wetlands. The space is fully furnished and is new construction as of the summer of 2024. The owners have a workshop and office space on the first floor, with occasional day use.

Navajo Yurt~ Mesa Verde Views on Campground

Our traditional wooden Navajo Hogan offers a unique experience. Only 5 miles from downtown Cortez. Showers & kitchen are seasonal from April - October. It has a porta-potty, pump sink & portable battery inside. It comes with a queen size bed with full linens, and two towels. There is a wood stove is inside for heat and boiling water. This is located on a private campground. Please see photos. Extra linens are available for rental onsite. Price includes 2 guests, $10 each after, up to 6 total.

Propane heater for cool seasons and cooler for summer. Sits on 12 acres with view of pastures and mountains. Animals pastured during the summer months. We have many outdoor activities such as fishing the lakes and river near by in the summer, bike trails, hiking trails. In the winter: Snowshoeing trails and so much more! Telluride, Durango, Rico, Ouray are all close for a day trip. Moab is even doable too to explore Arches National Park.
