This uniquely built barn situated in the Gold Coast hinterland is within walking distance to national parks. Made from recycled wharf timber, the barn is set on an 18 acre farm beset by green lawns. A king bed with ensuite, separate shower & bath make up the loft bedroom. Downstairs features a second bathroom / laundry, fire place, lounge, study & self inflating bed (inflatable bed linen not included), dining & fully equipped kitchen before walking onto a large deck overlooking the rainforest.

Unique features include hand-milled timber, sandstone walls, double spa, and indoor and outdoor fireplaces. Bring your paddleboards or kayaks to experience the dugongs and turtles of Moreton Bay with high-tide waterfront access. Just 10 minutes drive from world-class beaches, indulge in a secluded side of Straddie few get to experience.

Cheese Maker's Cottage

Historical 1930's cabin. Once the home of the resident cheese maker. Restored to suit the style of the time. Situated on a cattle property in the picturesque McPherson Ranges Sits below Mt. Edinburgh Castle, part of Gondwana rain forest. From Woodenbong, take Glennie Street, becomes Boomi Creek Road, keep on the sealed road at the Brumby Creek turn. Travel a further approx 6km. Do not request to book if you have young children as there is a dam nearby Enjoy the Dark Sky
