Guests have access to activities offered by the backpackers such as massages, cultural tours, cave hikes and kayaks on the beautiful mdumbi river as well as a restaurant and coffee shop on site. The house is the perfect spot for relaxing with your family/friends.

Spend your days fishing, swimming in the river, chilling on the beach or taking in the spectacular views from our deck! Our cottage is suitable for up to 8 people, please read the description below about the bedrooms.

The Real Kei

Stay in a local village just 3 km outside of Coffee Bay. the house is a traditional rondawel with wood fired hot tub, amazing views and braai area. Solar/electric plugs and lights, gas shower. Kitchenette with gas stove, microwave and fridge. Bedroom on mezzanine floor with ladder access. Separate toilet from the main house, with a beautiful forest view. Close to surf, fishing and beautiful hikes.

Blue Lagoon 4x4 Cottage

This property can only be accessed with a 2x4 with a difflock and high ground clearance or a 4x4. The Cottage has unobstructed views of the Umngazana Estuary and has back up power for lights, fridge and charging of cell phones and laptops. Come and enjoy the Transkei, sit on the covered veranda reading a book or go and swim in the estuary or ocean. Walking distance to the beach.
