Unwind at this stunning French Provencal beachside cottage. The house was lovingly built with stone floors, high-beamed ceilings, and antique details for a luxurious yet charming feel. Enjoy the sea and mountain views from the pool, lush garden and private patio leading off the living area Beautiful French Provencal stone cottage set in private indigenous garden overlooking Llandudno beach. The cottage was lovingly built with exceptional attention to detail, including stone floors, high beamed ceilings, antique light fittings, French wrought iron work and wooden shutters. It comprises a double bedroom with French doors leading onto private gravel patio with sea and mountain views and breakfast table shade by tall proteas, bathroom with bath and shower tiled in travertine (also mountain views!), lounge with kitchenette and covered "sundowner" patio with magnificent sea views. The lounge and kitchenette are fully equipped with TV, fridge, convection microwave, hot plates, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle toaster, coffee machine etc. There is a stone table and chairs on patio where you can sip your cocktails at sunset as well as loungers to soak up the afternoon sun while overlooking the ocean. The beautifully furnished bedroom comprises a queen-sized bed with down duvet, French antique linen and cotton quilt. Fluffy white bath towels as well as beach towels and umbrella are provided. The Victorian roll-top bath has wonderful mountain and garden views through sash windows The cottage is surrounded by a beautiful garden planted with indigenous plants as well as an assortment of cooking herbs, which you are encouraged to use. Guests are welcome to make use of the large swimming pool and pool loungers located next to the cottage. We also have access to squash and tennis courts as well as a yoga school located 300m from the cottage. The beach is ± - 5min walk away. There is under-floor heating throughout and a gas fire place in the lounge for cosy winter evenings Guests have access to lbeautiful landscaped garden and arge swimming pool. Cottage is a 4min walk down to the beach Owner lives on the property in a separate private residence and is always available for advice on dining, site seeing etc Situated in the spectacular enclave of Llandudno which is on the Altantic coast between Camps Bay and Hout Bay. Llandudno beach with its fine white sand and curling surfing waves is one of the finest in Cape Town, but due to the limited parking is kept unspoilt and for used mainly by locals. Shops and restaurants are a 5min drive away and Table MOuntain 10min, V&A; Waterfront 25min, Constantia Winelands 20min and Cape POint 35min.The sunsets over the Altantic Ocean viewed from the cottage patio are spectacular. LLandudno is on the MY Citi bus route to town centre Camps Bay, Hout Bay and V&A A Waterfront Cottage is serviced daily from Mon to Fri Check in is from 3pm- 6pm unless prior arrangements have been made Check out is at 11am unless prior arrangements have been made Guests have access to beautiful landscaped garden and large swimming pool. Cottage is a 4min walk down to the beach. There is also access to tennis courts situated 4 min walk from cottage. The house is located in the enclave of Llandudno Beach, a locals-only spot with unspoilt, fine white sand and curling surfing waves. Although shops and restaurants are only a five-minute drive away, the area feels peaceful and secluded. Amakhaya by the sea is an entire self contained cottage with its own garden overlooking the shores of False Bay, with picturesque views, whales, penguins & seals it is the perfect place to unwind. Close by are the world renowned Boulder's Beach penguin colony; mountain climbing behind the cottage, access to deep sea fishing, diving and kayaking at Simon's Town Waterfront & Harbor; as well as scenic Cape Point Nature Reserve. Quaint coffee shops & restaurants line the streets of this historic Simon's Town.

We love the proximity our home has to fun Fish Hoek beach and local shops and are happy to share tips, potentially tours, of the surrounding attractions if guests don't mind Rob's booming personality and improv skills! That said, if peace and quiet is all you're looking for, we are more than happy to accommodate!

This is one of Cape Town's environmental and historic treasures. It is a candle-lit hideaway with stunning views of mountain and sea. The Cottage is completely off grid, with fresh water coming off the mountain and energy from the sun. The cottage is built from local materials - stone walls, reed ceilings, blue gum supports. There are glass doors and windows throughout the cottage. The cottage has a beautiful open-plan bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom includes a tub, a toilet and a basin.
