Tucked in the glen of the tiny township of Clachamish, Shepherds Hut #1 is one of a pair of cosy hideaways at An Croit. An ideal rural retreat to access the delights of the north of the Misty Isle. Surrounded by nature & stunning views, this is the opportunity to escape the pressures of busy lives, there is no internet or TV. Shepherd's Hut S/C

On the Skye Trail, Shepherd's hut with magnificent views of the Cuillins, and the island of Rum. Nearby boat trips take you to the islands of Rum, Canna and Loch Coruisk. There is a local pod at the pier and café at village hall serving coffees, cakes etc. seafood sandwiches and ice-cream, weather permitting. The Elgol Bistro sells takeaway food, and is a licensed restaurant. Supermarkets, petrol, diesel and numerous restaurants are in nearby Broadford (15 miles)

Explore the incredible landscape and wildlife around the hut, nestling between the Uig Hills and the spectacular sandy beaches and sea cliffs of the Mangersta headland. An authentic taste of island life is guaranteed on this working croft, where cows and sheep graze.

Here is our new well kitted out Pod.It has underfloor heating,hot water,two ring induction hob,fridge/freezer,kettle,toaster,fixed double bed,and sofa bed.For your comfort it has toilet,wash hand basin and shower.Also WiFi,alexa, tv/dvd,amazon fire stick (netflix/childrens tv etc).It is very comfortable and cosy, with super soft fluffy fleece bedding and a pure wool duvet. It also has a bbq area with seating and fire pit for chilled out evenings. The pod is at the end of a quiet village.

Heron's View

Heron's View is a lovely, light, airy, spacious and well presented glamping pod. It has all you need for a comfortable stay from a well kitted out kitchen, bathroom with full size shower to a comfortable sitting area. It has a double bed and the sofa converts to a double bed. It benefits from underfloor heating. It has an unique position with an uninterrupted view of the sea and surrounding landscape. It takes its name from the two Heron's that nest on the island opposite the pod.

'An Àirigh' Isle of Skye

An Àirigh is a traditional shepherd's hut located in the crofting township of Borve. Just 4 miles from the island's capital of Portree, the cosy cabin is the perfect base for touring the island, hill walking, enjoying the many activities Skye has to offer, or simply relaxing and enjoying the view. The property offers accommodation for 2 adult guests-a double bed, private shower room, kitchenette, electric stove, wifi, outdoor seating and ample parking. * MINIMUM 3 NIGHT STAY*

Starsach view

Newly installed in 2021, the Cabin (often called a Storm Pod) is a self-contained luxury haven. Perched beside a small fresh-water loch and overlooking Loch Boisdale. It has a ¾ double bed, single bed and a fold-down bunk. Cooking facilities and a separate shower with WC. Outside there's a fenced courtyard with great Hebridean views for your enjoyment. Although there is sleeping for 4 available, the accommodation is more suited to couples or single occupancy.

The Shepherd's Hut on Eigg

The cosy Shepherd's Hut combines the best of past traditions with the comfort of today. Inside is everything you need for a comfortable cosy night's sleep, but still with enough space to relax during the day. Eigg is a beautiful island with spectacular beaches, wildlife, archaeological sites, interesting geology and a vibrant island community. The island is very popular with landscape and wildlife photographers.
