Across the road from the studio is the Coastal Walkway, a 13.2km trail that boasts breathtaking views of the sea. 32 min drive to Taranaki / Egmont National Park Visitor Centre. Driving: 5 min airport, 10 min city centre, 2 min public 24/7 laundromat and local shops.

The Wish House Retreat

The Wish House Retreat, is situated 6 kms inland from State Highway 3, in the beautiful region of Taranaki. Enjoy the scenic drive on a quiet country sealed road, surrounded by sheep and beef farmland. The Wish House is a self guided retreat, using nature to help people heal, to activate their spirituality, growth and connection to the earth. The cabin is located on the hosts’ small farm, offering privacy and opportunities for peaceful mediation, creating space away from a busy world.

Oakura Studio

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The studio is separate, fully fenced, lovely and private. It includes a relaxing little Zen garden area. The TV has all of the subscriptions. The kitchenette has a microwave, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, coffee pods, kettle & fridge. The stunning Oakura surf beach and Black Sand Pizzeria is just a 15 minute walk away, the cute little Oakura village, cafes and restaurants, a 12 minute walk away, and the Kaitake Ranges a 15 minute walk.

The Hideaway

Enjoy this unique and private home with close access to walking tracks and town. The reviews describe it better than we can! Sunny and spacious, you will enjoy a serene bush outlook, birdsong, and a peaceful, inspiring space. There are two comfortable couches to lounge on, a super king bed with luxury linens and a 51 inch smart tv plus complimentary, fast wifi. Relax over brunch with a 12 pm checkout. The kitchen is well equipped and there are many great cafes and activities nearby.

Onaero is a peaceful settlement boasting extensive sea views , beautiful natural scenery and abundant birdlife. Swimming, surfing, fishing, and nearby golf courses are popular past times. Our motels are set back 100m from the beach amongst mature gardens and trees. All units have sea views and private beach access to an excellent swimming beach. We can also offer accommodation for larger groups . We have 3 additional apartments for bigger groups ranging from 4-6 people.

Comfortable self contained studio, with own access, 1 Double bed, own shower and toilet, kitchenette with microwave, fridge, toaster , hot plate 2 elements., TV. Shopping centres, laundrette, takeaways, and cafes nearby. We no longer supply breakfast but milk, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and sugar is supplied. Off street parking. 5 minutes to airport, 2 minutes to the beach and walkway. NOTE: due to thickness of the concrete walls WIFI is positional. ADULTS ONLY

Take a 3 min walk to our beach, surf, swim or use our free kayak. Use our bikes on the Coastal Walkway (free) or hike the Pouakai Crossing. We are central to Taranaki attractions: - 20 mins to central New Plymouth - south - 45 mins to The 3 Sisters - north - 40 mins to North Egmont Visitors Center - east But: - poor public transport - you need a car - we're not central city NP Renovated in 2016 the Apartment has: - modern bathroom - well appointed kitchen - wifi

The Gingerbread House

Your space is located inside my Gingerbread House which is also home to "The Chocolate Lady". Sleep inside the Sweetest Bedroom Ever imagined or step into an Enchanted Forest Bedroom... The entrance is also the dining/lounge/library. The kitchenette has a jug, toaster, microwave, multicooker and electric frying pan. The bathroom and toilet are separate. The entrance is currently unfinished and this is reflected in the charge out rate!

Imagine waking up next to a twenty-metre heated swimming pool. The air is alive with birdsong because this oasis sits on the edge of a designated bird corridor. Handily situated on the edge of Oakura township, this elegant studio offers peace, sun and panoramic views. This property has terraced gardens, quiet enclaves with outdoor furniture and elevated decks with a view through to the Tasman Sea. Peace, privacy and comfort.

Located only a five minute drive to the CBD for Arts, Culture, Shopping, Restaurants & Cafes. A ten to fifteen minute walk to the CBD along the picturesque Huatoki walkway next to the river that heads through the CBD and out to the ocean

Bird-Song Studio

Quiet, cute relaxing getaway at the beautiful Urenui. Situated in the village with a two-minute walk to the river and 15 minute walk to the main beach. The property backs onto a native nature reserve, songs from the native birds are heard all year round. Situated next to the main house where my husband and I live with our 2 children.
