After many other uses it was renovated as a self-catering guesthouse accommodating six people in 3 en-suite bedrooms; 2 double bedrooms & a twin room. Beautiful wooden floors, fireplaces and stained-glass doors in the living room, lots of original paintings and fully equipped kitchen add to the warm ambience and atmosphere of the house. The house is centrally located and is within easy walking distance to the main attractions. It has its own fenced off garden and is situated in a small estate with 3 other houses. There's a solar system which keeps lights, wifi and the fridge on during loadshedding! The main living area is spacious and has a beautiful sunroom for lounging around. Each bedroom can be arranged into either double or single beds which is ideal for any group booking and there is a pizza oven available as well.

Sedgefield Lodge The Boathouse

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Sedgefield Lodge is situated on a game estate. There are various species of buck, wildebeest, zebra and giraffe to view. We are on the Olifants River. The area is one of the best bass fishing locations in South Africa. There are plenty of walking and cycling paths to explore and an abundance of birdlife for the bird lovers. This piece of paradise is a must for families or groups of friends looking for relaxing holiday in the bush.

Bluegum Private 2 Bedroom Stone chalet

Come and enjoy some time away in this tranquil and secluded 2 bedroom stone chalet with thatch roof interior and private garden. The unit comprises of: - 2 bedrooms - a lounge and dining room with free wifi, Netflix & Openview - a fully equipped kitchenette. - private bathroom with a shower. Visitors can also enjoy the outside area which has beautiful views onto the small hill and a lovely braai/barbeque area. PLEASE NOTE: The unit does not have a back-up generator for load shedding.

Holingsberg River Fly Fishing and Horse trails

Holingsberg River Cottage is an exclusive Self Catering River Fly Fishing and Horse Trail destination for the serious Fly Fisher and Trail rider. The chalet is upmarket and private, and situated on a working farm yard. The kids are welcome to interact and learn about the farm animals. The fly fisher has 1.5km of river front. Enjoy the splendid view from the patio while preparing dinner, relaxing around a fire, and discuss the catch or trail ride of the day. The cottage has solar back-up.

Self-Catering/Pet Friendly

This old favorite, offers panoramic views, tranquility, and privacy. It boasts a fenced garden and spacious stoep for braais and sundowners. Adventure seekers can hike the mountain for a breathtaking vista. IMPORTANT: Regrettably, the Stone Cottage lacks electricity due to transformer damage from a recent storm. The repair timeframe is unknown, but we have a generator on hand for your convenience. We apologize for this inconvenience and assure you that we're pursuing alternatives.
