Ideally situated for exploring Benbecula, the Uists and neighbouring Islands. An ideal location for access to North Uist's beautiful beaches, trout filled lochs, moorland, hills, machair wildlife habitats, and a host of prehistoric sites. It's a 15-minute drive from the ferry terminal at Lochmaddy, and a mile from the excellent, well stocked shop in Bayhead. The shop has a 24/hr petrol and diesel pumps.

Otternish Pods on North Uist are situated on a working croft and are ideally located for exploring the islands. 1 mile from Berneray ferry terminal and 10 miles from Lochmaddy. Each pod is open plan with a kitchenette, seating dining, sleeping area and shower room. 3/4 bed and sofa-bed provides accommodation for up to 4. It is ideal for 2,If there are 4 adults you may feel it rather small. Bedding and towels are provided. Heating, TV and WiFi all add to a warm comfortable stay.

Main bathroom has a fully closed walk in shower. The Kitchen/living area is open plan with a large fridge freezer, gas cooker, microwave, kettle & toaster. The living area has a 32" smart tv with freeview, electric fire and 2 recliner sofas. The living room opens out on to a patio area via double patio doors.
