The house was originally a palace and bank house, designed by one of the most well-known architecture in Hungary (Hild Jozsef) in Classicist style. From spring to autumn, you can enjoy Budapest from on one of the largest terrace in the area with flowers and some drinks. The area is central, but quiet and peaceful at night.

Dear future Guest! The bungalow is a part of a family home, the garden and the yard is shared with the residents. The apartment lies under the Mátra mountain, it has a big garden and a separated entrance. The house and the neighborhood has a friendly atmosphere as nature surrounds the whole village. With the apartment we provide bicycles so you can explore the beautiful Mátra. The guests can always reach out to me if they need a tip for local food or what to see nearby.

Chestnut guesthouse is a fully renovated A-frame cabin in the town of Nagymaros, only a few minutes away from the forest. With its breath-taking panorama, outdoor fireplace big garden and calm atmosphere it provides a good opportunity to relax and slow down a bit. Air conditioning (and electric panels in the winter) heat and cool the cabin so it we are open all year. The cabin can host 4 people, any pets are also welcomed.

You can put your feet up in front of the fireplace after a hike in the nearby national park, warm up on our panoramic terrace after a swim down by the natural Danube shore, cook a hearty meal in the kitchen, on the charcoal barbecue, or grill in the nearby firepit. The neighbourhood provides romantic relaxing possibilities as well as active entertainment for the whole family. WalnutTREEhouse has been built on an old nut tree at 3.5 meters height. The shadow can be enjoyed on the big terrasse even on the hottest day.
