The Flower Bed

Welcome to The Flower Bed, a greenhouse cabin on the slopes of Mauna Loa, Big Island with everything you need for a great vacation. Relax on the outdoor patio, cozy up with a book on the loveseat, enjoy the rainfall shower. Gaze at the amazing stars and be lulled to sleep by evening nature sounds. Awake to birds in song and morning sun filtering through the window. Sample an edible flower, use a pinch of lavender for calm, and enjoy peekaboo ocean views. You won’t regret staying several nights!

Waterfront cottage on private, gated 1 acre estate. Close as you can get to an over the water bungalow in Hawaii with direct ocean access to swim, surf, kayak, snorkel and watch dolphins. Walking distance to manta ray, snorkeling, kayak, whale and dolphin tours, golf, restaurants, movie theater, and outdoor art market. Two room suite. Queen bed. Living room with 50 in TV. Bathroom with large shower. Large covered deck with seating area, kitchenette, dining table, lounge chairs. Outdoor shower.

Quiet and peaceful. 1 hour 15 min from Kona and same from Hilo. Best to get supplies in Kona or Hilo as no grocery stores in Na'alehu. Is 40 minutes to the Volcano Ntl. Park and 15 min to the Punaluu Black Sand Beach, 15 min to South Point and Green Sands Beach. There is no Wi-Fi ~ cell service works great in the area.

A glamping room for short stays for those wanting a lower nightly price, clean, comfortable, getaway, close to Green Sand Beach and other popular place.
