The Retreat Cabin on the Lake at Marmutt Woods

Our goal is rest and renewal for our guests so they return home ready to serve others and encouraged to spend regular time in prayer and God's Word. Relaxing is also a part of renewal so on-site activities and the surrounding communities offer plenty of recreation and tourism opportunities. Marmutt Woods is a place to step out of daily distractions to relax and refocus. Even if you are here primarily for some other reason, we hope you'll take advantage of the quiet time and provided materials.

Our cabin is located just off the Rhinelander Flowage of the Wisconsin River with private water access one block away and minutes away from town & trails.

Welcome to the Mermaid House! Forget all your troubles in this beautiful, serene space. Situated on Blue Lake, a 441 acre private lake located just 5 miles south of downtown Minocqua. Blue Lake is in the top ten of Wisconsin’s clearest lakes and is home to panfish, largemouth bass, small mouth bass, and walleye. The lake is not only great for fishing, but also perfect for cruising and/or watersports. This house is perfect for year round stays with close proximity to the UTV/snowmobile trails.

Inside, 4 large bedrooms plus a kids’ attic offer comfort for all. Amenities include kayaks, paddleboards, water bouncer, canoe, pickleball, lawn games, and a new game room coming spring 2026—all close to Lake Tomahawk (5 min) and Minocqua (20 min).

If you love the idea of a cabin but don't want to rough it, this is the place for you! 3 large comfortable bedrooms, spa-like master bath, two gas fireplaces, and central air. Step onto the large screened-in porch overlooking the lake to listen to the loons, but without bugs. House is on Snowmobile/ATV route.

This peaceful place is private. with plenty of parking perfect for anyone wanting to bring their own fun snowmobiles, ATV/UTV, horses, bikes, and boats this property is perfectly located for all of the above or grab some for rent a few miles away! Just a minute or 2 to trails, boat landings, restaurants, bars! Or settle in for the night to stargaze, have a fire or jump in a kayak and head to the lake for fishing and fun!

Experience the beauty of the Northwoods while enjoying the comforts of home at this updated Lakehouse 6 miles south of Rhinelander on crystal clear, full rec Hildebrand Lake. Enjoy your morning coffee or tea overlooking the lake from several different vantage points. The property is south facing so you can enjoy sun all day, but also has mature trees to stay cool, enjoying the breeze off the lake. 100' of lakefront includes 2 docks, so there is plenty of room for swimming and fishing.

Boulder Cove

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cabin on Lake Nokomis in the north woods. Nestled back in the trees on a peninsula along the water, you will find your home away from home. This 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath home has plenty of space to spread out yet cozy enough to spend with your loved ones. During your stay, you can enjoy the lounge style couches in the bonus room, find yourself playing pool in the bar area of the basement or cooking dinner in the outdoor kitchen area.

Friday's Up North, Dog friendly waterfront cabin

Peaceful cabin on the crystal clear water of Manson Lake. Relax inside while looking out the large windows at beautiful Manson lake. Or sit outside around the fire pit and listen to the sounds and peacefulness of the Northwoods. Very close to snowmobile trails. Only a 10 minute drive to Tomahawk, and 30 minutes to downtown Minocqua. The cabin has a full kitchen for when you'd like to stay in. Manson lake is a full rec lake with a public boat launch. We are also dog friendly!

River life at the Otter Den!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful and secluded property in the heart of the Northwoods. The cabin is situated along the Wisconsin River with only a few neighbors and surrounded by state land. Enjoy 150 feet of water frontage with clear shallow water, perfect for swimming, fishing, kayaking or floating. The property is perfect for hunters, fisherman, and snowmobilers. Close to a ton of trails, lakes, and state parks. Plenty to enjoy for all Otter Den guests!
