Havelock North is a 6 min drive. Napier and Airport 20mins.

'The Phoenix on Miller' Modern loft style

Unwind in this beautiful former and fully renovated pottery shop in Otane village - 3 minutes drive from the main highway (easy!). 25 minutes from Hastings, 40 minutes from Napier and only 30-40 minutes from the most beautiful beaches in Hawkes Bay. Our place is fully self-contained. The beautiful original cobble stone floors, high ceilings with its rafters, french doors and modern interior create a light and warm loft-style feeling.

The Granny on Gloucester

Historic Shearers Quarters Warm and Toasty

The Historic Shearers Quarters are located 11 kms from SH1, on a working farm that has remained in the family for four generations. We are based in the beautiful Kawhatau Valley. A unique accommodation in the heart of the Rangitikei. Light the old shacklock stove, sit back and enjoy peace and quiet- all while only 10 mins from the superb Dukes Roadhouse Cafe. Please note this is a Historic Shearer's Quarters. If you have mobility issues please be aware there are no ramps and only steps.

Takapau Yurt Experience

Situated in the side garden by the main house on a privately owned sheep farm (42 acres). Stunning views across the valley from behind the yurt and mountain views from the beautiful native garden surrounding the house. Guest bathroom is inside the main house. Breakfast is included and dinner is available at request and additional charge from my fully licenced food truck. Local superette 5mins drive away in the village, several nearby bush walks and wineries within a 15 min drive.

The Pavilion

So close to the village, yet set in the countryside there are lambs in Spring and apple trees next door. Eggs are laid by our own chooks, bread, muesli and preserves are homemade. We'll suggest places to visit and restaurants if you want to dine out. Cool off in the pool in summer or take an expertly led yoga class! Take a trip to Hastings or Napier or walk the miles of tracks in Te Mata Park. Ocean Beach is just 15 minutes away and the Sunday Farmers Market just 10!

Boutique rural retreat, outdoor baths, scenic view

Hindsight B&B is a brand new three bedroom home. Located over a stunning rural landscape in Tikokino, Central Hawkes Bay. Kick back and enjoy a soak in our two outdoor bathtubs, overlooking endless views towards Te Mata peak, Mt Erin and Kahuranaki. Our B&B is styled with up market, boutique homewares including luxury designer linen. We are located 35 minutes from Hastings and 50 minutes from Napier. If you want a peaceful retreat away from the hustle, come and stay!

Gorgeous light filled studio in lovely garden.

Our studio apartment is totally self contained, with wonderful wooden floors and light streaming in from the garden one looks onto. Perfectly situated a few minutes drive between Havelock North and Hastings and decorated with a Colonial African slant. We always leave muesli, fruit, milk, and croissants in the fridge for our guests to enjoy on their FIRST morning, so they can relax and not have to go out for breakfast. Tea and coffee are always provided.

Woodside Cottage

A quiet, relaxing self contained unit separate from the main house, located on the edge of Waipawa. Enjoy a drink on the deck looking out over the garden and listen to the birdsong. It's just a 10 minute walk to the shops, cafes, theatre and is handy to the cycle trails of Central Hawkes Bay. The beaches and Ruahine Ranges are not far away and it's only a 30 - 40 minute drive to Hastings or Napier.

The Pheasant’s Nest - Rural Escape

The Pheasant’s Nest is situated in the picturesque rural Hawke’s Bay. The cabin boasts views of the Tutaekuri River and the Kaweka Ranges. Ideal as a stay in between the major cities. Large parking space, enough to fit a small truck. Best suited for 2 guests.
