Panoramic views of sea, 1 min walk to the beach, surf, kayak, hike Mt Taranaki or bike the Coastal Walkway. 3 min to playground. Master Bedroom with ensuite upstairs. Well equipped kitchen with gas hob, oven, microwave, TV, Netflix and free wifi. 15-20 mins from New Plymouth. 10 minutes from Airport. 40 mins from White Cliffs Walk, 15 mins to Pukekura Park Festival of the Lights. 35mins to Mt Taranaki. The Chocolate Box Stay sits on an elevated section with a bushy background. It is a full home away from home suitable for single or family groups, a wonderful relaxing place to stay. There are two bedrooms , one with a queen bed, the second with a queen and a single bed. Also a sofa bed in a sunroom , which has heavy curtains , for privacy from the lounge It is located close to the scenic coastal walkway, Ngamotu beach & playground, Mt Paritutu, and Back Beach for walking and maybe a surf.

Warm and inviting at 33 on Upper Pungarehu

33 on Upper Pungarehu is located just off of Taranaki's Surf Highway 45 & is centrally located to local surf breaks, fishing spots & cultural sites. Parihaka Marae & settlement is just up the road. The closest town of Rahotu lies 5min drive south, continue south along Surf Highway 45 to popular Opunake Beach. Travelling north Okato is a 10min hop, Oakura a 20min skip & the big smoke New Plymouth a 30min jump. Maunga Taranaki National Park is a 60min scenic drive around the mountain.
