Offering the lower floor of the Paoli's original Carnegie library on Paoli's historic Court House Square. The main space is one large room with kitchenette & full bath. We're calling the decor 'industrical country chic'. Bright colors and comfort abounds. There is space for 4 to 6 with one queen, and two full beds. Windows are garden level. (Note: tub/shower has high sides, plenty of grab bars). Entrance is on ground level at the rear of the building with offstreet parking for up to six cars.

Luxury camping is available for guests who prefer A/C, a comfortable bed, and a TV at night here at Painter Creek Camp Resort. Our Camping Cabins include a queen-size bed with linens,small futon, TV, mini fridge, charcoal grill, picnic table, and firepit. Guests should bring their own towels, plates/utensils, charcoal, etc. Cabins DO NOT have a bathroom/running water. A bathhouse is located on the property for guests to use. Remember, this is a camping experience, with a few added upgrades.

There is a wooded hiking trail if you want to go for a walk. It is 5 minutes from the historic town of French Lick where you will find lots of entertainment, and many restaurants. Should you bring a boat for an outing at Patoka Lake, boat parking is available right across the county road from the cabin.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful nature retreat. Surrounded by private wooded acreage where deer trot by the kitchen window. Front and back porches, great for bird watching and viewing the valley. Only 12 minutes to Patoka Lake access. An abundance of family activities within 30 minutes including canoeing, exploring Marengo Cave, hiking at Hemlock Cliffs, Patoka Lake and Spring Mill State Park.
