The bothy- peaceful country life near the sea

The bothy is a beautiful newly converted farm building located on the east mainland of Orkney. The property is in the countryside, surrounded by farmland and just along the road from one of several wonderful beaches in Deerness. Should you need any items for a baby like a carrier (any age), seat, snuzpod, cot/ cotbed, highchair, etc. Please let us know prior to your arrival, along with the age of the baby/toddler. We also have a 4 bedroom house next door should you need a bigger accommodation

Secluded cottage by the Sea

A unique home by the sea. A peaceful and private country road leads to this secluded cottage. The hot tub has views down scapa flow. The famous St Magus Way is accessible from this property . There is direct access to the sea for paddle boarding, wind surfing or sailing in the bay. Return to the cottage to an open fire. The extensive grounds also allow for simple walks or yoga. The cottage retains some of it's 19th century charm but has been renovated to be a practical and comfortable home.

Loons Cottage is situated in the West Mainland of Orkney on the edge of The RSPB Reserve "The Loons" in the parish of Birsay. The cottage is on a working stock farm and is an ideal base for bird watching, walking, cycling, touring Orkney or just relaxing in the peaceful countryside. From this ideal location you can access many tourist attractions, Skara Brae, Skaill House and Bay of Skaill, Maeshowe, Ring of Brodgar, Standing Stones of Stenness, Earl's Palace just to name a few.
