The Pearl of Whakatiwai. A completely restored Bed/kitchen/dining room with separate shower and toilet. This house was built in the 50's and so we have lovingly recreated the whole 50's vibe for your enjoyment. Right on the edge of the Firth of Thames you can lie in bed and see the views that go on forever. A great little kitchen with new oven and fridge, plus all the tools you need if you want a "foodie" get away. We do not have a TV, but great WiFi. Great fishing right on your doorstep.

Hereford Cottage

Welcome to our private romantic getaway at Hereford Cottage. Located in Whakatiwai, north of Kaiaua with a backdrop of the Hunua ranges. We absolutely love living here and thought we would like to share one of our favourite places with others. We offer a beautiful one-bedroom cottage with a lovely outdoor wood fire tub and a romantic little area with a firepit, nestled in a natural setting with views of a stream, native bush and native birds. Enjoy a night or a couple of nights here with us.

Beach retreat self contained one bedroom/ 2 beds

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Access to beach on the property.The unit is at the front of the property so there are no sea view’s from the unit. There is access to the beachfront from the side of the main house. The unit is furnished with 2 bar stools and a fabric 2 seater couch and single fabric grandpa chair. The Kaiaua fish and chip shop along with the Kaiaua pub are located 7km’s away. There is an e- bike hire located next to the Gas station which you can explore on.

We are central to the Waikato, minutes from the Waikato Expressway/SH1 - approx. an hours drive to Auckland, west coast surfing/fishing beaches like Raglan, 90 mins to east coast Coromandel's world renowned beautiful beaches, a short drive to Hakarimata bushwalks with 800 year old Kauri, Golf Course, Hot Pools, Huntly Speedway, 20 minutes to Hamilton, Hampton Downs Raceway, and lovely cafe's a short drive.

Kaiaua getaway - our home is yours

Nau mai haere mai - we welcome you to our house in beautiful Kaiaua. Enough room and space for the whole family, including the dogs. Super king bed for extra room, and the kids will love the bunks. Stroll a few metres to the beach and enjoy the peaceful sea air and a swim. Grab your daily coffee at the awesome Pink Shop along with a few goodies. Gas garage has other supplies you might need. Hit the Rail Trail if you’re a keen biker and enjoy the area. Our space is yours.

This modern 2 bedroom cabin is fully selfcontained, seperate from main house, with everything you need to relax. 45mins from Auckland airport and located halfway between Auckland and Hamilton CBD's, the surrounding district offers stunning natural walks, surf beaches, adrenalin adventures, vinyards and fine dining options.

Rest at Rahu

Escape to "Rest at Rahu," a serene haven, surrounded by lush greenery. You're spoilt for choice with excellent dining options 10-20 minutes away and Waihi Beach just a 25-minute drive, indulge in relaxation. Explore Karangahake Gorge walkways 5 minutes down the road. Return to bask in peaceful ambiance, whether in the outdoor bath, on the deck, by the fire, or stargazing from the hammock. The Bus Depot.

The Bus Depot is a rustic retreat overlooking the beautiful firth of Thames. A beautifully restored 1979 Bedford bus which has all the modern comforts but still retains original features of the bus, this area has sleeping for two along with kitchen area, fridge, gas stove and a dining area on the covered deck. From the daybed to the loft space or going for a walk on the farm or just sitting in front of the fire you can enjoy the views at this outstanding location.
