You'll have access to a huge screened-in porch, all non-motorized boats, a big dock, and the entire house. There is a private sandy beach area on the side of the house for your use as well. Relax and unwind at our peaceful cottage at The Mill District. You will love the views out of the floor to ceiling windows. Everything inside and outside the cottage was recently remodeled including a brand new bathroom. You and your guests will love the well manicured property. Feel free to explore the grounds and bring your photographer (No sitting fee for guests). Peaceful location located next to clear lake.

Water’s Edge-Hot Tub, Pet Friendly, No Fees

Tranquil lake living! The Water’s Edge is a great way to enjoy the lake. It is right on the water with kayaks, stand up paddle boards, and a canoe to venture out with. The hot tub accommodates 6 people. The sunroom has beautiful views as well as a couple of beds that can be used if the weather is nice. There is nothing better than falling asleep to lake sounds and a pleasant breeze! Please no college partyers.

Outpost Treehouse

The lookout inspired Outpost Treehouse (not actually attached to a tree) sits in a white pine forest in the middle of a 50 acre active farm. The 15 hand crafted windows allow for great views watching out for Michigan wildlife--White tail deer, turkeys, owls, coyote have all been spotted from the elevated wrap around deck. The biggest regret that guests have noted is “we wish we would have stayed longer”!

The Garden House

Relax with the whole family in this charming old home, with swings on the front porch and an overgrown English cottage garden in back. Less than ten minutes from Hillsdale College with a fully equipped kitchen, this makes a great home base for college families. When we travel, we enjoy places with character, and we have maintained the character of this old fashioned family home.
