Additional restaurants are across from the pier- The Pierside ( delicious fine dining), La Galetta Creperie (Yum!), Bear Cost coffee and pastry shop, a coffee and ice cream shop, a small convenience store and gift shop are all there in the pier area. There is a beautiful scenic walking trail right along the beach. It's about a 1 1/2 miles to north beach and about the same distance south to Calafia beach. Laundry facility available in parking garage, one space for parking .The swimming pool is right out the front door for an alternate to the beach, bar-b-que in the pool area. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. The apartment is above our detached garage with a private balcony. Stunning views of city lights and rolling hills. If you have little ones we have a fire pit for smores. Our full size kitchen and laundry facilities within the apartment. Our property offers a sweeping ocean view from the main living areas and rear patio and it is a clean, understated getaway with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. It is a very private beach cottage style house with open beam ceilings, and a double car garage and is close to everything you could ever want in the beach village of San Clemente.

One of the last remaining undeveloped parts of Southern California, De Luz Heights is located adjacent to the Cleveland National Forest, and the Santa Margarita River (just a few miles from the campsite). On my 80 acres, there are no public roads going through or next to the property.  My land is 13 miles from the Pacific ocean and enjoys a relatively mild yearly climate, and features giant boulders and native wildlife.

A 5 minute walk finds you at the nearby town center and new downtown area where you can find restaurants, nightclubs and shopping. Down the street is Dana Point Harbor/marina and the famous Doheny Beach surfing and park or get-away to Catalina Island or whale watching! The Cottage is a great pet friendly with enclosed front and rear yards, a great alternative to the over priced resorts.
