Close to Rails to Trails for hiking or biking. Also near the Little Juniata River for trout fishing(regulated as All Tackle Catch and Release). We also border State Game Lands. 32" tv and 250 channels SUV or 4 wheel drive is recommended for winter. Please use Google GPS and check in instructions.

Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). We are open all year and you will love the views of every season.

Hemlock Hills Farm

Hemlock Hills is a rustic and beautiful all-seasons hideaway situated on 500 acres of private property in the heart of the southern Allegheny Mountains of Pennsylvania. A 2-acre, spring-fed lake on the property is perfect for swimming and catch-and-release fishing. The property also features three outdoor fire pits, a tennis court, two indoor fires, a horse shoe pit, and a large downstairs hall with a pool table. Blue Knob Ski Resort is a 20-minute drive.

The McVeytown House house is located within walking distance of the Juniata River Access Area. Yoder Tourways Bus Garage is right across the street, in case you are scheduled for a tour! And with the railroad right close by you can watch the trains from the living room and also the front porch! There are 3 bedrooms. Two bedrooms each have a queen bed and the third has a king bed.
